Are you staying in Jackson CA hotels and wondering what do this summer? Visit the #1 small county fair: The Amador County Fair! The fair is three days of great food, rides and entertainment so be sure to check it out!
The Amador County Fair has all that you’d expect from a county fair from a giant Ferris Wheel to the boardwalk where you can eat delicious food. Old West storefronts remind you of the good old days, where you can shop, eat, or indulge in a fun ride or two. Special events include the CPRA Rodeo on July 28 and the Destruction Derby on July 29, both which require a $20 separate admission fee.
but what makes it unique is the living history areas. There is a Miwok village when you can learn from members of the tribe about their beliefs and traditions. The areas also host a wheelwright shop and a steam powered sawmill to take you back to the olden days.
Another highlight of the fair is the daily tractor parade that chugs down the main street with antique farm equipment twice a day.
Get your tickets before July 25th at 5pm to receive discounts! Daily gate admission tickets for adults are only $10. Seniors (60+) can get in for $7 and Children (7-12 years) can get in for $7. Children under 6 years old can get into the fair for free. You can buy special packages to save money if attending multiple days! Package 1, at $35 includes 5 Gate Admissions and a Carnival Coupon good for 1 ride. Package 2 includes 2 Gate admissions, free parking coupon and 2 Kiddie Carnival Coupons good for 1 Kiddie ride all for only $20. For full details on tickets and deals, click here.
