Get Pumped at the Lake Tahoe Adventure Film Festival!

Do you love the outdoors and movies? If you and your family are staying in Jackson CA hotels, you can attend the Tahoe Adventure Film  Festival to ignite your sense for adventure. The festival highlights the best, action-packed, adventure sports films of the year and showcases some of the best talent.
Films cover the full spectrum of action adventure including skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, rock climbing, surfing, skating, mountain biking, BASE jumping and more! Many of the heart-pounding sports films have yet to be released. Each film was specially selected and edited for a fast-paced format. The night includes special guest speakers, action photo displays, break dancers, DJs and more surprises! The organizers spent hours watching footage in order to narrow down film submissions to the top 10 from the Action Sports World. Each filmmaker selected produced a special 10-12 minute clip or segment of their work to be premiered at the festival.
"When you are in the audience, you can't help but get excited about the films, outdoor adventure and getting out of your seat and actually going outside and experiencing the wild places of the world around us." said Corey Rich, a photographer/filmmaker of TAFF.
This year the festival has partnered with the Sierra Avalanche Center to host the biggest raffle of the year! Prizes include season passes, helicopter ski trips, cat-skiing trips, gear, swag and so much more! The Outside Television office in South Lake Tahoe is also hosting a special segment on the filmmakers featured in the festival.
As part of the TAFF Road Tour, the festival was previously in San Francisco, Mammoth and Petaluma this year. Films will be available for purchase from the filmmakers. We encourage you to support talent and purchase their films!
