Fall Events in Jackson, CA
It’s been a long hot summer in California. Now that it’s finally fall, those staying in hotel rooms in Jackson CA, should celebrate the season by taking part in the harvest season. Amador County is a great place to celebrate Halloween with the kids, as they will love the Autumn Flower Farm Pumpkin Patch with farm animals, train rides, and mazes. Autumn Flower Farm Pumpkin Patch, October 1- 31
The Autumn Flower Farm will open up its pumpkin match and corn maze on October 1st. Both are open daily with no admission free. You can pet the farm animals and take a free train ride tour of the premises every weekend in October, weather permitting. Kids will love this opportunity to celebrate Halloween. On October 6-7, the farm will be celebrating a special fall festival with fun for the whole family. Gardening experts will visit the farm to answer questions and give a variety of hourly demonstrations. Kids can visit with the farm animals and venture through the hay bale maze. Big Crush Harvest Festival, October 6 & 7
Celebrate fall with the 37 members of the Amador Vintners Association at the annual Big Crush Harvest Festival. You can enjoy treats, entertainment, and of course the Sierra foothill wines amidst the scenic beauty of Amador Wine County. You can watch the 2012 harvest while it is in process at several wineries or taste delicious food pairings. For more information on activities available at all participating wineries, click here.
