August is a great month to be staying in Jackson California hotels as there are many outdoor concerts happening. Better yet, many of them are FREE of charge! California summers provide great weather to enjoy an evening to inspiring tunes. Read below for information on some of the concerts going on in Amador County!
Amador Arts TGIF Summer Music
TGIF Summer Music continues in Amador County for three more Fridays. Feather River will perform in Sutter Creek on July 20 for a night of folksy country. On August 3, Black Irish Band will celebrate the music of Ireland by at Mollie Joyce Park in Pioneer. To finish the season, Tri Tone Subs Barry Duncan and Joe Bellamy will play soothing jazz standards and improvisations at Montevina Winery in Plymouth on August 10. Amador 1st Saturday Art Trek
Enjoy an afternoon and evening of art, wine, food and music in the foothills on August 4. From 1 to 7pm on the first Saturday of every month, AmadorArts will hold a monthly “Art Trek.” You’ll be able to meet artists and enthusiasts at an artist’s reception with cookies, wine, cheese, music and much more. Events will be available at galleries all over Amador County, including Add Art in Jackson. For more information, click here.
Helwig Winery Summer Concerts
Come out to Helwig Winery for concerts this summer! On July 28, Renegade will pay tribute to rock band Styx. On August 18, Pablo Cruise will croon down-to-earth vocals about life. On September 8, you’ll be able to enjoy the music of The Eagles from tribute band Hotel California. Tickets are $45, and be sure to print your ticket.
